Fluted stoneware melons in a soft rose glaze, spaced with fluted brass. The colour pools in the grooves and lifts on the ridges, so every bead reads slightly differently.
Rose-glazed stoneware melon beads, solid brass spacers and toggle clasp. Bead diameter 12–22 mm, varying by hand.
Made by hand, so no two are identical — the glaze settles differently in the kiln, and small shifts in colour and shape from the piece photographed are part of it. The solid brass deepens as it's worn, taking on a warm antique tone over the years.
